Educator
As an educator - both in the classroom and in the museum, I strive to infuse learning with technology appropriate for the purpose of creating a learner-centered environment and recognizing the diversity of learning styles. I have developed numerous resources as well as lesson plans, WebQuests, and project-based activities. My courses integrate technology by allowing learners to develop media literacy, digital competencies, social skills, and critical thinking skills. Students utilize technology to gain information, to share and collaborate, and to demonstrate understanding.

My  Educational Philosophy will serve as a starting point for you to learn more about me as instructional designer, technology leader, and instructor

Student and Faculty Development

I am a creative, innovative faculty development leader whose focus is on supporting faculty in the creation of engaging and inspired learning environments both in face-to-face and online environments. I have supported faculty in the integration of instructional technology and in effective instructional design for online, hybrid/blended, and face-to-face courses. I encourage the development of collaborative, inquiry-based learning environments where learning is enhanced through the use of technology. It is not enough to know how to use technology; it is just as important to understand why and when to use technology. Therefore, I seek to provide a pedagogical understanding as well as technical support.

Project Manager

I am a people-person who is committed to customer service and thrives on being able to build partnerships and collaborate with others.  In fact, shared leadership is my primary form of supervision. I have successfully worked on and managed collaborative projects for a variety of entities. I provided both one-on-one and group consultations, virtually and face-to-face. I have a commitment to quality, communication, negotiation, and collaboration.
