Educator
As an educator - both in the classroom and in the museum, I strive to infuse learning with technology appropriate for the purpose of creating a learner-centered environment and recognizing the diversity of learning styles. I am a creative, innovative faculty development leader whose focus is on supporting faculty in the creation of engaging and inspired learning environments both in face-to-face and online environments. I have supported faculty in the integration of instructional technology and in effective instructional design for online, hybrid/blended, and face-to-face courses. I encourage the development of collaborative, inquiry-based learning environments where learning is enhanced through the use of technology. It is not enough to know how to use technology; it is just as important to understand why and when to use technology. Therefore, I seek to provide a pedagogical understanding as well as technical support.
